IGCSE Biology revision video on enzymes
Posted on April 19th, 2009 8 commentsWelcome back to ClickBiologyMy Year 10 Biology group are all technophiles and love using their computers to revise. Sadly there is very little out there on the net specifically catering for IGCSE. CIE do do a student site but I haven’t really clicked with it. So I am going to attempt to make a series of videos for IGCSE Biology (Cambridge). Hopefully by next year I will have covered the syllabus. The first one, on enzymes, is shown below. It is approximately 11 minutes long but should just squeeze into the usual, productive attention span.

I will be posting the teacher and student PowerPoint versions of the video later (again for free…I must me mad!).

Thank you very much. I’m an IGCSE student in Zambia, in africa. I struggle with studying biology. This really helps. Wish I had found it before my exam is next week. Thank you.

Thanks for your comment Valencia. I wish I had more videos up for you. I am working on a nitrogen cycle at the moment and it should be up before your exam. Meanwhile use the links available to chase up other good sites. http://www.skoool.co.uk is good. Good luck in your exam, I will be thinking of you next monday

Thank you so much for the feedback. It is much appreciated. Hopefully I will put more stuff up soon. Unfortunately I was burgled and my computer was stolen so I have lost a lot of my resources. However, that maybe a good thing as it means they will all be updated now.

I haven’t been able to download the video – think my internet connection is too poor / my old laptop is struggling with flash player. Perhaps it could be directly downloadable somehow so that people like me with old technology can focus on one problem at a time (internet then flash player)!
The powerpoint, which I have been able to download, is fab! I am tutoring for the IGCSE and think this covers the topic very well. Thanks!

well it seems there is a problem with screentoaster that host the video. I can´t get it to work either at the moment, which is really annoying. I do apologise. I will try and fix it but I suspect it is lost
I will try and redo it as soon as I can.
