GOOD LUCK!!!!!!

Edexcel and IGCSE Biology exams this week. Just want to say good luck to all the students and also to all the teachers chewing their nails at the back of the exam hall hoping fervently the paper is okay. I remmeber last years IGCSE and the HUGE question on the nephron. I really panicked as I worried the students only revised from their text books (which didn’t include the nephron) rather than my notes. It did catch a few students short but most knuckled down and gave it their best shot.

This year is the first year that the IGCSE is so late. Normally it is around my birthday (9th of May) and so the students are really hyped up and ready. I saw my students this week and they seem to have one eye already on the lazy summer ahead rather than the Biology. I do hope they haven’t gone of the boil as my lot could do very well this year.
