This is a short and simple presentation to illustrate the dfferent types of possible mutations. A lot of simple animations and short informative information slides. The last summary slide can be used as a verbal summary or as a written activity for the students.Link to presentation:

Your slides are appropriate and useful; however, it would have been nice if you had included some examples like SCA and PKU to illustrate the concept behind chromosomal mutations.

You are quite right about adding examples to make the topic more applied and interesting to students. I wrote this presentation when I was still teaching the concept approach and so didn´t add examples. Now I think a few slides on CF etc. would havebeen a good idea. I do always assume though that teachers will modify the resources to suit their own style and syllabus, this is why they are free to use etc. Thank you for your comments, I do like constructive feedback such as this and do appreciate you taking the time to comment. regards, Allison
